SSG Sports Team Visits Mountainous Primary School, Witnessing the Exceptional Quality of Donated Track

In 2018, SSG Sports donated a spray coat system running track to a mountainous primary school in Maoming, Guangdong, with the goal of providing a better sports environment

for local students. In March of this year, the SSG Sports team returned for a follow-up visit, and to their delight, the donated track is still in use and in excellent condition.

During the visit, team members thoroughly inspected the track and found no signs of delamination, cracks, vandalism or aging. The track continues to perform exceptionally well, highlighting the durability and long-term reliability of the product.

Spray coat system running track or called resin-bound rubber crumb running track is formed from a base mat of resin-bound rubber crumb of 9 to 10mm of thickness. The base mat is then sprayed to form a texturised surface coating of polyurethane paint. Different from the sandwich and full PU system types of running track which are non-porous or impermeable, the spray coat system is porous and permeable. The open textured surface is good for water drainage, which means that even areas slightly out-of-tolerance for levels, there will be not standing water.

This visit not only reinforced the positive impact of the donation but also underscored SSG Sports’ commitment to high-quality manufacturing and product excellence.
