Key Points of Installing Prefabricated Running Track
1. About the Prefabricated Running Track Roll Pavement: why there is overlap between vertically adjacent rolls during installation?
1) The cutting edge of the rolls from factory may not be uniform, so the cutting at site is to make sure smooth joint line.
2) For oval/curve area of the track, cutting is a must to give out a smooth joint.
2.About the Roll Pavement: why needs bricks to press? How to place the bricks onto the rolls during installation?
1) The PU adhesive that binds the prefabricated running track roll to the sub-base is not fast curing adhesive. It takes 6 to 8 hours for the adhesive to get cured and therefore placing the bricks onto the rolls is to make the roll better adhere to the sub-base.
2) The bricks should be ready when starting paving the rubber rolls. Place the bricks every 3 meters along the installation or after one roll is paved.
3. About the Roll Pavement: when the rolls get bulged, how to solve the problem?
Step 1) The rolls need to be checked after it is paved (before the adhesive get dried) by knocking at the rolls . If there is air, the sound will be different .
Step 2) Where is air, use needle to suck air out and then place bricks onto the area.
